now that it's had some time to die down, i decided to take a more leisurely look around the culture shock event.  i found quite a few more things that i really loved, including this cool hair from wasabi pills.  it inspired me to pull some cool stuff out of my inventory that i havent worn in a while, and reminded me of some newish stuff ive bought and then forgotten about.

ive loved this mesh leather jacket from beetlebones from the minute i first saw it, and anytime i want to wear something rocker/biker/punk/urban its always the first piece i start with. i love it with the half shirt and leather zipper pants from league, and the legacy belt, watch, & cuff from blitzed match it perfectly. *love* 

i finished it off with the love rocker necklace and skull ring from maxi gossamer (ugh i could blow my whole sl budget in that store, b/c i love aaaaaall the stuffs from there!!) and the mesh triumph boots from gos.

once i had my outfit together, i knew exactly what i wanted to pose with – the pose bike from pose pirate that i first saw and fell in love with at the pose fair.  i actually thought that i bought it there, and then discovered that the transaction hadnt gone through.. and then i spent forever frantically trying to find out where the bike came from.  thankfully i was able to figure it out, because it is full of awesome.  it comes with some really nice couples poses, and looks so great that you can seem cooler just by standing next to it :p

more newness at coldlogic today.. capris, vintage looking tied up shirts, tank tops, and adorable cherry print dresses – so many things i didnt even know where to start. 

first up were the very chic plaid capris, which i thought looked amazing paired with this sexy button up shirt.  i love the cleavage on the shirt, the style is one of my faves that theyve come out with, and these new colors are fantastic. 

the plaid capris were also pretty awesome, however i wasnt really a huge fan of the others that came out today – the denim and the solid colors seemed a little plain with their texturing.  not sure what happened there, because i usually love the detailing on the coldlogic clothes.

i thought that these shoes that i had seen talked about earlier would be great for this outfit, and i was really pleased with them – especially for just L$399!

sooo i leave town for the day to spend some time with my mommy, and i come back to some fab news… new hairs at truth and a group gift from pixel mode.. squee!!  i rushed over to try on the latest from truth, but sadly only one style was really "me."  the updo looked adorable in the ad pics, but on me.. not so much!  the ponytail however, was much more my style.. and then when i opened up my group gift from [pm] i let out another squee – a new color in my fave shoes EVER.. the fae.  i already have lots of fatpacks.. pretty much every color thats been released so far.. and the denim is most definitely my new fave.

belleza came out with a new group gift today, v2 of the lily skin.  the detailing on it is pretty awesome, even though it's lighter and a bit younger looking than i usually prefer..

i think i kinda look like a 12 yo girl (ok, maybe the pigtails dont help!) but im excited for the darker version to come out so i can grab it! cant wait!

since collabor88 is mostly full of pastels and light, airy, springy things this month (not that theres anything wrong with that!) i was really excited to see this uber sexy romper from house of hucci in my fave color.

i grabbed it up without even trying the demo (imma risk taker!) and it did not disappoint.  it's cut so perfectly that it barely even needs an alpha layer (just for my big booty!) and looks amazing on. 

it's been pretty hard to find mesh things that are slutteh enough for me, but ::hh:: has always been one of the few places that i could count on.  now if only they would crank the sexy out a lil faster!!!

as you may know, mesh around is a grid wide hunt organized by the ego co that runs from june 1-june 15 and features mesh items from some really fantastic stores.  the deadline to enter was last weekend, but due to high demand it's been extended an extra week. so if you havent already gotten your application in yet, be sure to send it in before midnight may 13, 2012!

this month, collabor88 is full of pastelly "daydreamy" goodness.. i managed to get in and out fairly quickly, and grabbed up some really adorable stuff.  my fave thing was this very summery mesh hammock from cheeky pea – it has some really nice cuddle and single poses in it, and the texturing is perfect.

i also grabbed this sweet babydoll dress from tres blah.. it makes me think of summer and walking thru a field of flowers barefoot.  i was not super thrilled with the way the mesh is at the bottom, it seems to "break" a little bit when i walk or move – but for 88l i can definitely live with it.
